You know how we feel about subscription music sites likeSpotify and Pandora, well, Beats Music launched today — Dr Dre‘s answer to the music subscription business. Beats Music is positioning itself as “artist friendly.” Not sure what that means yet, and there’s nothing in the article about how they will pay their artists. Anyone here more familiar with their business model? Do you think the world needs another subscription music service? We’d like to hear!
